The Aschheimer CSU has a new local chairman. After twelve years at the top, Rolf Dettweiler handed over the office to Florian Meier. Meier, 37, was previously deputy local chairman and is also Dettweiler’s deputy in the municipal parliamentary group of the CSU in Aschheim. Meier thanked Dettweiler for his long work in very difficult times – the CSU-led town hall was confronted with two referendums and considerable public protests in the recent past.
Dettweiler took over the chairmanship from Hansjosef Friedrich in 2011. The computer scientist remains active as deputy chairman. Maria Knoller and Regina Bauer act alongside him as deputies. The board of directors is completed by Uwe Kleinewiese, Uschi Niedermeier, Alexander Opfolter, Bernhard Aschenbrenner, Miriam da Silva, Helmut Heinrich, Georg Hornburger, Gaby Kasberger and Bernhard Stilling.
