Shortly before Easter, a huge Easter egg was stolen in Neustadt near Coburg in Upper Franconia. The specimen, which is around 80 centimeters tall and weighs 10 kilograms, was stolen from its nest on the market square between Friday and Saturday afternoon, the local police station said on Sunday.
City employees noticed the loss of the red ice. The city of Neustadt suffered damage of around 400 euros. Now the police are asking for “relevant information on how to catch the egg thief.”
