Many important people have already sat at the round glass table in Merith Niehuss’ office, including numerous defense ministers and most recently women ministers. On this day, however, the president of the Bundeswehr University in Munich is sitting there with a very important woman: her deputy – and successor. Vice-President Eva-Maria Kern will take over the management of the university in Neubiberg on January 1st.
