Nena announces a big open-air tour – of course with her hit “99 Luftballons” in her luggage. The song will be 40 years old in 2023.

Nena (62) is going on tour again next year with a very special anniversary. Her cult hit “99 Luftballons” has been flying around the world for 40 years. The “We belong together” open-air tour in the summer of 2023 will not only take the singer through Germany. Nena is also on stage in Austria, Denmark, Belgium, the Czech Republic, England and the Netherlands.

The first 12 live shows in Hamburg, Gera or Oranienburg, among others, have already been announced. The publication of further live dates including the festival shows will follow over the next few weeks. The starting signal will be given in Gelsenkirchen on May 20th.

“No Nena concert without the balloons”

Of course, Nena’s mega hit shouldn’t be missing either. “As long as I’m on stage, there won’t be a Nena concert without the balloons. I love this song,” the singer clarifies.

“Let’s sing, dance, laugh and celebrate life together, because even in challenging times we can live joy,” emphasizes Nena. “I enjoy exchanging energy and love with the people in front, behind and on stage and look forward to next summer with you.”
