According to media reports, basketball pro Kyrie Irving wants to lure superstar LeBron James to the Dallas Mavericks.

As “The Athletic” and “Bleacher Report” report, the point guard would like to form a trio with James and Slovenian Luka Doncic at the Texans. Irving (31) and James (38) played together for the Cleveland Cavaliers between 2014 and 2017 and won the title in the North American professional league NBA in 2016.

James was eliminated in the Conference Finals with the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Irving and the Mavericks didn’t even make the playoffs. A move from James to Dallas is extremely unlikely, the Mavericks have only a few swap candidates for a possible deal. Irving has to renew his contract in Dallas himself. Dirk Nowitzki’s former club can offer the veteran the best financial conditions.
