Nazi flag spotted in park was stage set

Stupor, a few days ago, on social networks. A brief video, broadcast, in particular, on Twitter, showed a Nazi flag, floating in a park, near Montpellier (Hérault). The publication caused a stir, while the riots raged in France after the death of Nahel on June 27 in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine).

Samuel Clouzier, one of the Internet users who shared the video on Twitter on June 30, clarified the next day that it was, in fact, a theater set. Information that the Théâtre des 13 vents has confirmed to 20 minutes, this Tuesday morning. This flag was placed there for the needs of the rehearsals of the play Great fear and misery of the Third Reichwritten between 1935 and 1938 by author Bertolt Brecht.

Excerpts from the work of the German playwright will be played by students this Tuesday and Wednesday (8 p.m.) on the summer floor of the Théâtre des 13 vents, in Montpellier. The room is offered free of charge to spectators.
