“Bild”: DFB team without Goretzka but with Pavlovic

According to a media report, Leon Goretzka is not in the German national soccer team’s squad for the next two international matches.
According to information from “Bild”, the FC Bayern Munich midfielder will not receive an invitation to the test games in France (March 23) and against the Netherlands (March 26). Instead, national coach Julian Nagelsmann will nominate Goretzka’s teammate Aleksandar Pavlovic for the first time.
The decision comes as a surprise as Goretzka was recently back in the record champions’ midfield and was able to impress with good performances such as the recent 8-1 win against FSV Mainz 05.
Instead, 19-year-old Pavlovic could now make his debut in the senior national team. Pavlovic had recently played regularly in the Munich midfield center alongside Goretzka. The Serbian association also tried to get him.
