So far, the model has kept a low profile on details about her motherhood. Now Naomi Campbell gives intimate insights in the “Vogue” interview – and presents her daughter on the cover.
Naomi Campbell can be seen on the next issue of British “Vogue” – and with company: The model holds her daughter in her arms on the cover of the March issue, which will be published on February 22nd. A cover story with a bang.
Naomi Campbell: “She is not adopted”
Campbell kept her motherhood covered, the surprising baby news in May 2021 only provided her with a picture showing her daughter’s feet – since then it has been speculated whether the child was adopted.
The 51-year-old now presents the face of the little ones on the “Vogue” cover for the first time. And says in an interview: “She’s not adopted, she’s my (biological) child,” like the magazine previously quoted from the conversation on Instagram.
In the interview, Campbell also reveals more background information about her daughter. “I could count on one hand the number of people who knew about her,” she told the magazine. She was a “great blessing” and “the best thing I’ve ever done.” She is currently persuading friends to still become mothers despite their advanced age, she said. When asked if she wanted more children of her own, Campbell told the magazine, “Why not?”
Once the first black model to grace the cover of French Vogue, Campbell continues to champion diversity in fashion.
