Iconic top model of the 1990s, Naomi Campbell returns to the front of the stage with a collaboration, not with a major luxury brand, but with Prettylittlething, a British fast-fashion brand. The former model has teamed up with two young designers, the Nigerian Victor Anate, and the American Edvin Thompson, to offer a collection of 15 looks available in several colors.

If the promotion of young designers and the accessibility of this collection can delight fashion lovers, the Prettylittlething brand has been singled out on several occasions by NGOs for the working conditions of its employees. Critics that Naomi Campbell will certainly have to face when presenting the collection on September 5, just before the start of New York Fashion Week.

It’s time for drawing class

Resistant, educational and fun, Flik Flak watches have adorned the wrists of young schoolchildren since 1987. For this new school year, the children’s brand from Swatch is teaming up with Faber-Castell, the iconic manufacturer of drawing materials, to offer two boxes containing a monochrome watch, pink or black, accompanied by two matching pencils and eraser.

A Gourmet Little Nicolas makes his comeback

From this Friday, September 1, Little Nicolas and his nice group of friends are settling down to have their snack in the bakery. Poilane of rue du Cherche-Midi in Paris (6th). On the menu, a collection of terrific delicacies for children and their parents alike, in particular the brand’s emblematic shortbread biscuits which, for the first time, bear the image of the famous Sempé character.

From 3.80 euros for a chocolate-filled shortbread to 35 euros for a 500 g metal box decorated with drawings by the famous schoolboy in the red sweater. Poilâne organizes cooking workshops on Wednesdays to learn how to make his own biscuit, while the Chantemerle bookshop in the nearby rue de Sèvres provides meetings, games and film screenings.

The modeling clay goes back to the kitchen

A salad of “cannonballs” as a starter, “spaghetti from the garden” as a main dish, a “volcano cake” for dessert… These recipes were imagined by very young children with Play Doh modeling clay before being adapted by chef Cyril Davroux from the French Coco restaurant in Paris (15th).

After a first collaboration between the brand and chef Fanny Herpin of the Camondo restaurant in February, Play-Doh signs a new original culinary operation that can be enjoyed until September 24 on the menu of this restaurant chosen because it has a play area allowing children to get off the table to let their parents eat in peace. Dishes from 7.50 to 18 euros, starter-main or main-dessert formula at 25 euros, starter-main-dessert menu at 31 euros.
