Nadja Abd el Farrag suffers from a chronic lack of money: the 58-year-old known as “Naddel” has now revealed that she is financially supported by her parents.

Nadja Abd el Farrag became known as Dieter Bohlen’s partner – under the name “Naddel” she was known to most Germans in the nineties. But the 58-year-old crashed badly and is suffering from financial problems. She tried to get this under control a few years ago with financial advisor Peter Zwegat on his television show “Raus aus den Debt”, but in vain.

Because the former presenter is still broke and needs help. As Abd el Farrag now told the moderator, entertainer and singer Andreas Ellermann in an interview, her parents mainly take on this part. “You had a bit of savings. But actually my parents support me,” said Abd el Farrag in the conversation that was broadcast on the Hamburg 1 station.

Nadja Abd el Farrag received no money from Dieter Bohlen

She had previously spoken to “Bild” about her money management. “If I have some in my wallet, I’ll knock it out. Even if I know there’s nothing left in the account. As long as there’s something in the account, I enjoy it. I can always suffer later,” says Abd El Farrag. After the breakup, she didn’t get “a cent” from Dieter Bohlen: “Dieter’s answer was: ‘You’ve earned enough money from me.'”

Even participating in the 2015 jungle camp did not seem to improve their financial situation in the long term. In 2019, Abd el Farrag revealed that she was living with her mother again at the age of 54: “I have no apartment, no money, no husband and no children.”

The 58-year-old no longer wants to look for the general public for the time being. “I’ve been doing this for 35 years now, and you get torn apart,” she said in an interview with Andreas Ellermann. She used to perform as a singer at Ballermann, but this chapter is also closed for Abd el Farrag. “Never again in my whole life,” she says.
