“My family thought I was dead.” Guest of “Clique TV” on Canal+, Mathieu Kassovitz in promotion for his musical show adapted from Hate, returned to the motorcycle accident that almost cost him his life in September. The actor was injured on September 3 during a motorcycle driving improvement course at the Linas-Monthléry autodrome (Essonne).
“I woke up to a number of messages from friends, former friends, even family who thought I was gone. It was quite an interesting test. It’s as if I had invited people to my fake funeral and I thought that 100 people were going to come, and in fact there were 10,000 who came,” the actor confides to Mouloud Achour. “I almost lost my foot, but for the moment it’s holding,” he explains, smiling, his foot stuck on the Canal+ set.
He also returns to his cult film, Hateand its adaptation into a musical comedy under the title Hate, so far nothing has changed, who will perform on La Seine musicale from October 10 to 19 in Paris. From November 8 to 10 at the Dôme de Marseille and from November 15 to 17 at the LDLC Arena in Lyon.
