Singer Nicole has arrived and music producer and ESC legend Ralph Siegel is “infinitely happy”: The musical about the ESC victory “A Little Peace” will be performed in Füssen.

Producer and composer Ralph Siegel (77) celebrated the premiere of his musical “A Little Peace – Summer of Love” with numerous prominent guests in Füssen. He was “infinitely happy,” said Siegel. He was particularly pleased that singer Nicole had also come.

With her and the song “A Bit Peace” Siegel won the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson in 1982, today’s Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). “We made history together,” Siegel said Thursday night.

He himself would “lovely” take part in the ESC again. Also this year he had submitted four songs. At the weekend, Germany ended up in last place at the ESC. In the course of his career, Siegel had come first once, second three times, third twice and fourth place twice at the ESC. Several times he also ended up in the back places.

Siegel went on to say that the musical “A Bit of Peace – Summer of Love” has now made it onto the stage in a detour in Füssen. Because the piece had already started in Duisburg in autumn 2022 under the title “‘N bit of peace – Rock’n’Roll Summer” and was canceled shortly afterwards. In a dpa interview, Siegel recently described the premiere at the time as a “miscarriage”. There was trouble with the organizer because of the bad ticket sales.
