Rock Hall of Fame: Sinéad O’Connor and Mariah Carey nominated

The nominees for induction into the “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame” have been announced. Among them is the singer Sinéad O’Connor, who died in 2023. It is her first nomination.

The music stars Sinéad O’Connor (1966-2023), Mariah Carey (54), Cher (77), Ozzy Osbourne (75), Lenny Kravitz (59) and Sade (65) are on the list of nominees this year for inclusion in the ” Rock & Roll Hall of Fame”. The 15 nominees also include the bands Oasis, Kool & the Gang and Foreigner, as the hall of fame in Cleveland, Ohio, announced over the weekend. Ten of the nominees are up for election for the first time, including Sinéad O’Connor.

It will be announced in April who will finally be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. Fans can vote online. The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place in Cleveland in the fall. The condition for inclusion is that the first album was released at least 25 years ago.
