Murder of Lola: a tagged mosque near Bordeaux

Tags calling for “justice for Lola”, the 12-year-old schoolgirl killed in Paris on October 14, were discovered Friday morning on a mosque in Pessac, near Bordeaux.

The Pessac mosque, located in Gironde, was the victim of an act of vandalism this Friday, October 21. Several tags were discovered on the walls of the mosque, demanding “Justice for Lola” and attacking the state, described as “lax”.

According to the photos published on Facebook by the president of the mosqueRidouane Abdourahmane, the tags were signed “Identity direct action”.

THE MOSQUE FILES COMPLAINT

On social networks, he notably denounced the “ignoble recovery” of the murder of Lola, which “achieved its main objective, to make all muslims the culprits of this heinous crime”. According to Sud-Ouest, the president of the mosque will file a complaint following these inscriptions.

By late afternoon, the messages had partly been erased, noted an AFP photographer on the spot.

The circumstances of Lola’s death and the profile of the main suspect, of Algerian nationality and under an obligation to leave French territory (OQTF), have aroused strong criticism from the right and the far right, which blamed the government for mishandling irregular immigration.
