Murder in a car park in Munich: Charlotte Böhringer’s nephew Benedikt T. is free – Munich

The nephew of the murdered man, who was sentenced to life imprisonment, left the Straubing prison on Monday morning, his lawyer said. To this day he denies killing his aunt.

Benedikt T., who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the process of the so-called parking garage murder, is free – the execution of his sentence has been suspended, as his lawyer Peter Witting confirmed to the SZ. According to his information, the now 48-year-old T. was released on Monday morning from the Straubing prison, where he had been serving his sentence since the judgment of the Munich Regional Court on August 12, 2008. The probationary period is usually five years; if T. is not guilty of anything during this period, the remaining penalty will be waived.
