A 17-year-old has confessed to killing his mother as a result of an argument and setting a fire in an apartment in Münnerstadt (Bad Kissingen district). Because of strong suspicions of manslaughter and particularly serious arson, a judge issued an arrest warrant against the suspect, the police announced on Thursday. He is therefore in prison. The investigation was ongoing.
During the fire in a residential building in Münnerstadt (Bad Kissingen district) on Saturday, emergency services found the body of a 55-year-old resident of the apartment building. The 17-year-old son was taken to a clinic with smoke inhalation.
