Munich: youth gangs attack two men – Munich

Two men fell victim to robberies in Munich over the weekend. The perpetrators are said to be teenagers or young men who appeared in groups. The two victims were injured in the raids.

On Sunday at around 12.40 a.m., an 18-year-old from Munich was in the area of the Golddistelanger in the Am Hart district. There he was approached by three perpetrators and asked to hand over money to them. When the young man refused, one of the perpetrators slapped him in the face. The 18-year-old fell to the ground and was kicked by two other attackers. The three perpetrators fled with their victim’s fanny pack.

Because the 18-year-old had a video call with an acquaintance immediately before the crime, a suspect was quickly identified in the pictures. According to the police, he is also an 18-year-old from Munich. He is now being reported for extortion and dangerous bodily harm. The two accomplices are still being sought. They are said to be 17 to 18 years old and wore black clothes and white sneakers.

Three men, also around 18 years old, are said to have attacked a 48-year-old on Saturday around 1.30 a.m. in Munich’s Lehel near the underground station. When the 48-year-old didn’t want to give the perpetrators any money, one of the group pulled out a knife and attacked the 48-year-old with it. The trio then fled. The 48-year-old suffered lacerations on his hand. Commissariat 21 takes information on both cases under the telephone number 089/29100.
