The approximately 15-year-old waited “dutifully” in front of the apartment building after the call on Tuesday and “briefed the Munich fire brigade on the situation,” as the fire brigade announced on Wednesday.
The emergency services were able to get the 80-year-old, who according to the fire department could not leave his bed on his own, out of the apartment. He was taken to a hospital. According to initial findings, the reason for the smoke is a scorched object on the stove.
