He’s still smiling, but differently. Willy Bogner, fashion entrepreneur, exceptional skier, extreme cameraman and therefore also a darling of society, turns 80 on Sunday. He no longer performs, very differently than before. That’s why the conversations in BR’s “Life Lines” portrait series, which were shown last week, are a rare insight. For example, an aging Bogner sits in front of the fireplace in his house on Lake Tegernsee and smiles when he talks about his life. But he tells a lot of things that are not at all to smile about.
