After around 30 hours of negotiations, the coalition committee in Berlin agreed on a “modernization package for climate protection and planning acceleration”. It also provides for the accelerated expansion of a total of 144 motorway and federal road projects. Some of these priority projects are in the Munich area. This can be found in an “Annex Accelerating Road Projects” which the Southgerman newspaper received from coalition circles.
The list lists the motorways and their respective sections on which construction measures could now “be implemented super quickly” because they are “written as an overriding public interest”. However, the state of Bavaria still has to agree. Details on the type of expansion are not given in the list. The following motorway sections are listed in the greater Munich area:
