During the mushroom season from the beginning of August to mid-October, experts from the Association for Mushroom Science in Munich await experienced mushroom collectors, interested nature lovers and laypeople looking for advice every Monday in the town hall on Marienplatz. But now they often wait in vain during the summer months. People always come later in the year. In an interview, club board member Helmut Grünert explains why this is so and why not only the weather but also the knowledge about mushrooms is changing.
