The police arrested two men who tried to rob an electric scooter around 9 p.m. on Sunday. The two men, 24 and 31 years old, had approached a group of seven young people at a gas station in Untermenzing, but then suddenly attacked: One of the two grabbed the e-scooter of one of the young people and at the same time tried to kick him in the head . A fight then began between the two groups.
One of the youths fled to the checkout at the gas station and asked an employee to call the police. The came with several strips and arrested the two attackers. As it turned out, they were heavily under the influence of alcohol at 1.7 and 2.3 per mille and spent the night in police custody.
