“My friends call me Gonzo,” calls Chilly Gonzales to the sold-out ranks of the Isarphilharmonie before leaving the hall to thunderous applause. Previously he managed to take the very mixed audience by the hand with a quirky, strange concert mix. This includes his stage costume, the bathrobe with sauna slippers over a white T-shirt with a fine ribbed appearance, crowned with a mustache and messy hair. He contrasts this after-work aesthetic of the TV evening with a gradually increasing chamber pop program.
