Blank cartridges, helmets and protective vests: the Munich police train for emergencies. From Monday, May 6th to Wednesday, May 8th, and on Monday, May 13th, a large-scale exercise by the Munich police will take place on Siegenburger Straße in Westend from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
So-called “life-threatening operational situations” are to be trained, which cannot be represented by regular police operational training.
There may be banging noises and screaming during the exercise, but there is no danger to bystanders. Anyone who feels unsettled by what is happening can contact the emergency number 110.
