Bombs on Rafah: Netanyahu and his game with fire

The bombings of a refugee camp in Rafah torpedoed a deal with Hamas – and show how desperate Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu has become. What was once a war of self-defense has long since become a campaign of revenge.

According to the Israeli military (IDF), it was a successful strike. Two leading Hamas figures – responsible for attacks in the West Bank – were eliminated in southern Gaza in a “precisely” conducted air strike on a site used by the terror group, “in accordance with international law” and “based on intelligence information”. The army spoke on Platform X on Monday night about its deployment.
