A 44-year-old man from Geretsried sexually harassed a sleeping woman on the S-Bahn floor of Munich Central Station on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. Camera recordings later showed how the 44-year-old first sat down next to the woman who was nodding off on a bench and began kissing her and touching her inappropriately.
When the 57-year-old came to, she tried to keep the intrusive man at a distance. Railway security staff became aware of the situation around 2:15 a.m. and intervened. A federal police patrol took both people to the station, where the woman, who lives in Munich, filed a criminal complaint. The officers found that the suspect had an alcohol level of 1.9 per mille. According to her, the woman was also drunk and that was probably why she fell asleep.
