A 54-year-old woman was surprised by two burglars in her apartment in Schwabing. Thanks to their considered reaction, the police were able to arrest the two perpetrators red-handed on Sunday night.
According to police, the woman was sleeping in her bedroom when she woke up around 2:45 a.m. to noises in her ground floor apartment. She left the apartment through a window and called the police from a neighbor. She met two men who were about to leave the property. The suspected perpetrators tried to escape, but were caught and arrested after a few meters.
The two men, 37 and 39 years old, had burglary tools with them and are now in custody. They gained access to the apartment through the patio door. It remains to be determined whether anything was stolen.
