Along with an absolutely sweet couple picture from King Charles III (75) and Queen Camilla (76), the palace has announced that the British monarch will return to his public duties for the first time since his cancer diagnosis was announced. The picture, which is supposed to celebrate Charles’ coronation in London around a year ago, ostensibly shows a king and his wife. Above all, what we see is a couple who can fully rely on each other even in difficult times, like those at the moment.
Charles and Camilla: arm in arm against all odds
The picture was taken by photographer Millie Pilkington – according to British media, in the garden of Buckingham Palace on the morning of April 10th, one day after the royal couple’s 19th wedding anniversary. The two can be seen arm in arm, Camilla beams into the camera, Charles, who is also in a good mood, apparently only has eyes for her. To mark this “milestone”, Charles will visit a cancer treatment center with Camilla next Tuesday. There the two will speak to medical professionals and patients. Camilla doesn’t leave Charles’ side
