After a fight and the robbery of a cell phone in Nußbaum Park, the police arrested two men. Passers-by called the emergency number at around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday.
Officers found a 27-year-old man lying on the ground with serious head injuries. He was taken to hospital and required emergency surgery for a brain bleed.
The injured man’s cell phone was found on a 38-year-old man. A 21-year-old also admitted to being involved in the crime. It is not yet clear what caused the dispute. The injured man is said to have received several punches in the face.
The two suspects were reported for robbery and grievous bodily harm and were then released – for the time being.
