Fire cases have increased in the area around Candidplatz in Giesing since the end of 2023, in which mobile toilet cubicles, garbage and recycling containers and information signs have been damaged. The most recent case occurred on Sunday night around one o’clock in the morning: a mobile outhouse burned in a green area between Candidstrasse and Brudermühlbrücke. The fire brigade was alerted and extinguished the fire, but the cabin was still completely destroyed. The damage amounts to several hundred euros. Commissariat 13, which is responsible for fire crimes, has taken over the investigation and is asking witnesses for information on 089/29100.
