Shocking moment in Sendling: A three-year-old child was suddenly transported from the automatic vehicle elevator into a normally inaccessible underground car park in a residential building on Friday morning on Danklstrasse. According to the fire department, the child was still sitting in the child seat while the parents were unloading the car when the lift started moving – and went down with the car and child.
The underground parking area is not accessible to residents in the house. Due to a technical defect, the vehicle could no longer be brought up. However, the fire department was able to help: the emergency services got to the car through a maintenance opening and were able to free the uninjured child.
