Munich: S-Bahn chaos after the Pasing station was closed – Munich

Passengers had to wait up to 30 minutes, and some days were canceled altogether. The reason was, not for the first time, “unauthorized persons” on the tracks.

After the Pasing train station was closed, there were massive delays in the entire S-Bahn network on Sunday. The reason given by the railway was “unauthorized persons on the route”. This is not the first time that all rail traffic has been stopped, including long-distance trains.

Although all tracks and routes were released again at noon, the S-Bahn warned of subsequent delays “of up to 30 minutes” on all lines. Some trains did not go to the final stop specified in the timetable, but turned around early. Other connections failed completely.

The situation only began to normalize in the afternoon – “largely”, as the railway put it restrictively. It could “still come to premature train turns”. It is therefore certainly advisable for passengers to use the timetable information provided by the Train and des MVV to consult on the internet. If necessary, there is also information about alternative connections.
