In the beginning the hospitality was huge, but after several weeks with a strange family in the household, many people are exhausted and wish that the people they had taken in would move out again.

The help came spontaneously and from the heart: Many residents throughout the district of Munich opened their doors to refugees from the Ukraine, cleared guest rooms and hobby rooms, installed additional towel hooks in the bathroom and often set the table for a whole additional family every day. Of around 3,800 refugees from Ukraine who reached the Munich district, around 3,000 found accommodation in private households. But gradually the hosts are exhausted. Increasingly, they want their guests to move out. But where?
