With a flashlight, Jason Puschmann goes searching in the basement to find the traces of the burglars. He looks for evidence of property damage and theft. He also wants to determine how the intruders got in and where they were. Centimeter by centimeter, Puschmann lets the beam of his flashlight sweep across the floor before he crouches down and points to a dark structure that is around a centimeter long and looks like a miniature cigar.
