A chase with up to ten police cars broke out in Aubing on Sunday evening. A police car had noticed a black Porsche Cayenne at around 10.30 p.m. on the corner of Bodensee- and Hans-Steinkohl-Strasse, the owner of which the officers knew that his driver’s license had been revoked. When trying to control the car, the driver accelerated, ran over several red lights and forced a pedestrian to jump away. The Porsche was found abandoned near Hoheneckstrasse, but two of the three occupants were still nearby. They were taken to the police station, where the 26-year-old vehicle owner arrived a little later. All officers deployed identified him as the driver of the car.
The man is assigned to the poser scene. He is now being investigated for endangering road traffic, prohibited motor vehicle racing and driving without a license. The traffic police asks for information on who observed something at the specified time in Bodenseestrasse and in the area of Aubinger Strasse and Limesstrasse: 089/62 16 33 22.
