This week, a man wrote to the Mayor of Munich, Dieter Reiter (SPD), seeking help: He should please act in his capacity as the head of the supervisory board of Stadtwerke München (SWM), he himself only had “a meaningless, 08 /15 template information” when he asked where his gas bill was. He and his wife would have received the last one on February 22, 2022, a year and a half ago. The advance payment announced therein was then debited on time three months later. Since then, the municipal utilities had not wanted any more money from him. “You will understand,” the SWM customer appealed to the top SWM supervisor, “that at some point everyone wants to know where they stand financially.”
