Munich: Police divers find suitcases with stolen goods in the Isar – Munich

Divers from the Munich riot police discovered a sunken suitcase with possible stolen goods during an exercise in the Isar Canal. The piece of luggage contained keys, coins, watches and jewelery worth around 3,000 euros in addition to a sidewalk slab to weigh it down. The police assume that these are rather less valuable and therefore sorted out pieces from burglaries in apartments and shops.

The suitcase was found at the Conwentz Bridge in Thalkirchen on April 11th. So far, officials have not been able to identify the items. The suitcase is a black travel trolley that was probably thrown into the canal from the bridge. Pictures of each item can be found under this link be called.
