After an attack on a pensioner couple, a violent robber has been in custody since Tuesday afternoon. The 27-year-old, who has no permanent address, wanted to go to an office with his supervisor in the Berg am Laim district of Munich. When he was turned away, he damaged the front door with a stone. He then attacked a 68-year-old and a 69-year-old on the sidewalk.
Witnesses detained the drunken and mentally disturbed man. According to police, this is the same man who hit a woman in the head with a bottle at the Brudermühlstrasse subway station on Sunday morning and robbed her.
