Munich: New start for the Schlemmermeyer stand at the Viktualienmarkt – Munich

The Munich catering entrepreneur Manfred Kneifel, who also runs the Munich soup kitchen with several locations, will take over the former Schlemmermeyer stand at Viktualienmarkt – and wants to open it “as quickly as possible”. Regional and sustainable sausage, ham and meat products, including snacks, will continue to be offered. According to the city’s announcement, all current employees will be taken over.

Schlemmermeyer filed for bankruptcy in May of this year and a short time later closed the stand, which consists of two shops. In record time, the Munich market halls have now managed to fill the stand on the main walkway from Marienplatz to Viktualienmarkt, said municipal representative Kristina Frank.
