Munich: “Midsummer Night’s Dream” ends with fireworks – Munich

The Olympic Tower glows pink, blue and orange, fountains and star showers light up the night sky and are reflected in the Olympic Lake, around which thousands of people have gathered.

On Saturday, the open-air festival “Midsummer Night’s Dream” took place in the Olympic Park – and this time it ended spectacularly. At the “Spectacular Colours” fireworks display, 15,000 different effects could be experienced at a height of up to 200 metres, as announced in advance.

Thanks to new technologies, there should be stronger colors and less smoke, it said. The fireworks could be seen from many places in the city and heard from even more places.

Previously, reggae singer Gentleman, the pop group, played at the festival in the Olympic Park July and other groups. More than 30,000 visitors were expected.
