The effects of the war in Ukraine have fully hit Munich. Hundreds, now even thousands, of refugees reach the main train station every day. In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the situation was chaotic and people had to sleep on the floor. Mayor Dieter Reiter (SPD) got an idea of the situation on Wednesday. The fact that refugees in Munich have to sleep on the floor shouldn’t be repeated, he said.
