The IAA is over, but the climate protests of the “Last Generation” continue: On Thursday morning, several activists blocked the exit from Chiemgaustraße onto Tegernseer Landstraße. The climate activists announced this in a press release. They were standing opposite the police station in Giesing – including some who had only been released from police custody on Tuesday.
“Locking up peaceful protesters does not solve the political conflict. If politicians want the protests to end, they must fulfill their duty and preserve the natural basis of life,” said the activists.
The police spoke of four activists – three clinging to the ground, one to one of the fellow activists. All four were released after their cases were processed. Since the action took place after rush hour, there were no major disruptions.
