Georg Marckmann, 55, is a member of the Central Ethics Commission at the German Medical Association and co-author of the guidelines for dealing with Covid-19 care. At the Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich, he heads the Institute for Ethics, History and Theory of Medicine.
