A young man fell on the track bed of an incoming train in Munich – he sustained only minor injuries. The early 20-year-old lost his balance on Sunday morning and fell between the edge of the platform and an incoming S-Bahn, the fire department said.
The fire brigade and rescue service searched for the man and found him accessible between the tracks and the safety shaft of the platform on the gravel. He suffered abrasions on his legs and hips, but was able to crawl out from under the train on his own. He was taken to a hospital trauma room for further evaluation.
