White old men cover songs by the dead or about the dead: It sounds difficult, but the “Hollywood Vampires” featuring Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper manage to put on an amazingly lively concert in Munich’s Olympiahalle.
As a vampire you are dead, but you live forever. At least as long as you get blood between your teeth. Even as an actor or musician, sometimes you can survive as a dead person. Only then on celluloid, vinyl or digital media. Now Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry are not dead, they were when they performed with their band Hollywood vampires proven in the full Munich Olympiahalle. But Cooper turned 75 in February, Depp recently turned 60 and Perry is 72. Cooper is also known to have cheated death several times.
