Munich: Gorillas wants to reduce operating hours in Schwabing – Munich

The Gorillas delivery service still wants to open a distribution center on the premises of the former Schwabing post office at Angererstraße 7d. But the company is now accepting restrictions. This can be seen in an application that has now been submitted to Westschwabing’s local politicians for a hearing. This includes: Operating times Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., in accordance with the statutory shop opening times. In a first application, which the local building commission had rejected in the spring, the aim was still opening hours until shortly before midnight. From an urban planning point of view, the project is now “permissible”.

According to the authority, significant points of criticism have been “adapted” to the provisions of the development plan. Based on this assessment, the district committee also approved the change in use by a majority. However, an assessment of the commercial and traffic noise by the health department is still pending, as is an assessment of road safety by the mobility department. However, the planning department explains that Gorillas wants to instruct its e-bike riders to only push on the sidewalks.
