Munich: Four people from Munich want to revolutionize shipping – Munich

77 percent of the EU’s foreign trade is carried out by sea, but cargo ships are known polluters. A group of young people from Munich would like to change that: If their start-up is successful, it could revolutionize seafaring.

Motorized shipping is one of the biggest polluters. Not only does it pollute the oceans and air, but it also contributes significantly to greenhouse gases. The founders want to build container ships that do not emit CO2 emissions, travel faster than conventional ships and also save costs. How are you going to achieve that?
