If the former CSU General Secretary Andreas Scheuer were still Federal Transport Minister, the Munich City Council would probably find it easier to spend 560 million euros on a building this Wednesday. For a project that could become Munich’s most expensive ruined building without help from Berlin. A majority of the CSU, Greens and SPD in the city council want to release the funds for the planned stop of a new U9 at the main station. Even at the risk that the subway will not be realized due to lack of money. The 560 million euros would then be buried underground for nothing.
