A dead man was found in a pile of clothes on the premises of a company in Moosach that collects and sorts old clothes on Tuesday morning. Apparently it was delivered in a used clothing container that he must have climbed into beforehand, as a police spokesman said in the afternoon. According to initial investigations, there were no indications of foul play; the autopsy results indicated drug poisoning. The man, a 20-year-old Afghan, was already known for violating the narcotics law. He most recently lived in a reception center in Ingolstadt.
The police received an emergency call at 6:45 a.m. saying a lifeless body had been found. Due to certain signs of death, no more emergency medical measures were initiated. Commissariat 12, which is responsible for death investigations, is now trying to find out the exact circumstances of how the man died and also how he ended up in the used clothing container.
