Günther Beckstein, former interior minister and for a short time also prime minister in Bavaria, turns 80 in autumn. But there can be no question of a real retirement for a long time. Just recently, the former CSU top politician and current lawyer once again wrote a few letters to tenants of the housing association Dawonia. One was a complaint about rent increases. Beckstein noted on April 4 that he was not responsible for this. However, he forwarded the complaint to the management “with the request for a benevolent examination”.
